Alive and Kicking!

Hey everyone, I am still alive and kicking. I just have been very negligent in posting due to the fact that I do not have internet at home and can only post when I'm at my dad's house. However, everything is going well and life is looking up! especially in the love department. I now have a boyfriend and things are running smoothly. we have been together about a month now and I pray for a long time to come. Work is work, tedious and unforgiving as always. opportunities arise for promotion but I personally do not think that i will get to fill those shoes. especially since I make decisions for my people over the companies needs. Why? Because the people make the business what it is. I am very unsure how much longer I will be at Subway, things seem to be getting further downhill and more of a corporate conglomeration verses being about the people (customers and employees). I know that out of all honor I would have done everything I could to maintain my employees to the best of my abilities. It is a very sad day and age we live in today where all people think about is living in the now and getting whatever they want at any cost from anyone else. Where is the consideration we used to value as a people for someone Else's livelihood and cares, along with their faults? Why do so few of us keep that fire lit and receive nothing in exchange but mediocre jobs and livelihoods? Soo many questions with no answers. but it is all good, i don't do it for the sake of myself but for the sake of those whom i oversee. I care about my team and can only hope and pray they care about what we as a team are trying to accomplish at the same time. I most definitely will always give kudos to those that share my filthy stinky shoes of poverty and no reward and applaud those that make an attempt even to reward those who do everything they can to help someone else consequences be damned. our country has run out of heart and relies completely upon numbers and the bottom to survive. however, if we even think for a second about the change that can be made in people if we revert back to living lives of love and patience we would be much better off then we are now. better off financially, personally, and in the family unit. how many times have i seen someone expecting the world handed to them and not be wiling to work for it? Too many. one is too many, being a selfish society solves and helps nothing but one thing. it forces others to look at us as a bunch of selfish bastards who don't really care about anything but lining our pockets, which seems to remind me of the majority of the royalty of mid-evil times. I see that as a whole our nation could be ten times stronger, why cant anyone else see this and if they do why don't we put our efforts into building a better future for our young? Its because we are ruled by the bottom line and we would pay for it if we didn't cohere to what that means... are you willing to break an unforgiving trend? I am.
