First Date!

Ok, so I was bad I used Craigslist to try and find friends and for a relationship. I answered one of the ads for someone looking for a long term relationship. I look at this add and I think about it, I always think twice before replying to an ad on there because people in general are not trustworthy to their word. I end up replying thinking ok, maybe just maybe he will respond. He Does! I was shocked. so we email a few emails back and forth swap pics and all. I feel like okay this could work even though I have past hang ups. I discuss my hangups with my Aussie buddy and he tells me matter of factly:
  • your gonna sit down, talk to him and realize one of two things
  • 1) this guys cool, hes got a great personality, i think i want to learn more about him.
  • 2) this guys a complete dick and i want nothing to do with him.
  • neither things have nor should they have anything to do with the color of his skin and i know you will be able to look past that that whole factor.

    Later he Said:

    I've known you for what? almost 6 years now and have never seen you in a situation that you didn't handle yourself with integrity. because you are a strong person sir, and are able to look past someones physical appearance.

    All I have to say is that my buddy is right. And karma is awesome! My date was fantastic. He was a gentleman. We talked, and we talked, we ended up talking for like 3 hours. We have a lot in common and are opposite enough to be very comfortable.  It's incredible he wants to romance me, me! He and I share a lot of basic relationship values and beliefs. We both love God. And my he is fit. :P No we are holding off on the sexual aspect of a relationship, which is unanimous. :) But for a bit of TMI i would love to see his chest. :P haha. Anyhow, We have a second date scheduled for this weekend (date unsure, depends on my day off) and its going to be a romantic date. I am completely excited! He is cooking dinner, and it will be candle light only. :)

    Well, a bit about him. He is 25, healthy, Smart, can carry a very interesting conversation, understanding, and classic in his form of romance. We sat on the beach for all three hours watching the waves and talking. It was very romantic. :)

Interesting Things

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been so long once again. I have been thinking about things, many things of late. Life tends to throw you curve balls at every angle. Our job is to get ahead any way we can. How? Well it means work harder more often chasing after what you want. What do people want? Well considering the stock markets minor plung last Friday it's likely to be money that comes to mind for everyone. For me it's more so how do we fix the bigger problem. There are many who argue and don't agree with my solution but love the general concept. It's the details that matter ironically. On Fridays went from a +3.5% increase on my 401k to a -18.5%. Meaning I lost 22% on Friday. Which is just figures from one of my plans. It is also a good thing I wasn't yet heavily vested there. But at the same time it cut potential increases. Ultimately though you should never pull out when you loose money. Wait until you are positive and then turn around and pull out then reinvest. ...
